Do you know your city like the back of your hand? Can you navigate its hidden gems, best-kept secrets, and hot spots with your eyes closed? Do you have a knack for turning your local exploits into stories that make people want to book a flight ASAP? If you’re nodding your head, we want you on our team.

Who We Are:

The Adventurist Magazine is your passport to discovering the coolest places on earth—from the coziest coffee shop to the most Instagrammable mural. We're all about giving our readers a taste of what makes a city tick, and we need your insider knowledge to do it.

The Gig:

As a freelance contributor, you’ll be our eyes, ears, and taste buds of your city. We’re talking everything from the best restaurants (that tiny ramen spot nobody else knows about), to the most swanky hotels, to the can’t-miss activities that’ll have tourists thanking you for the tip.

What You’ll Do:

  • Write engaging, witty articles that capture the essence of your city.

  • Explore the newest, coolest, and sometimes weirdest spots in town.

  • Take your readers on an adventure, whether it’s through the best hiking trails, a city-wide food crawl, or a boutique hotel staycation.

  • Keep up with local trends and happenings—if it’s new and buzzworthy, we want it on our radar.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who lives, breathes, and loves their city. (Like, seriously—you’re on a first-name basis with your barista, and you’ve got a go-to brunch spot.)

  • A writer with a unique voice—think fun, conversational, and a little cheeky.

  • Previous writing experience is a plus, but if you’ve got the passion and the talent, we’ll take notice.

  • Must be comfortable working independently and hitting deadlines (adventure waits for no one).
