CLAUDIE Brings Côte d’Azur Cool to Brickell

CLAUDIE is the latest from Riviera Dining Group, the same folks behind MILA, the wildly successful rooftop spot, and CASA NEOS, a Mediterranean stunner. They’re taking a similar approach here—lavish setting, serious food—but with a French Riviera twist.
For the design, think open-air terrace dripping in greenery, an interior of glazed Mediterranean tiles, and a centerpiece fountain inspired by French jewelry design, because why not?
The whole thing is meant to feel like a long summer night in Mougins, the Côte d’Azur town where founder Gregory Galy grew up.
The menu leans into “la cuisine du soleil,” a fancy way of saying a restaurant that takes the French-Mediterranean approach to eating. That’s thanks to Chef Michaël Michaelidis, who previously worked at Le Louis XV-Alain Ducasse and Joël Robuchon’s empire. His Table-Side Gazpacho, above, is theatrically poured with a splash of vodka. It reimagines a Bloody Mary as an appetizer. The Pâtes Au Caviar is rich enough to make you forget you fought Brickell traffic to get here.
If you’re into seafood, the Royal Seafood Tower pictured here is a full-on spectacle, stacked with pristine shellfish.
But the real reason to go? It’s a French Riviera escape without the TSA pat-down. If MILA was Miami’s love letter to Mykonos, CLAUDIE is its ode to the South of France, that place you either dream of returning to someday or just want to pretend you’re visiting—even if you’re actually still in Brickell.
