Wynwood has everything—until about 10 p.m., when the craft cocktails turn into half-finished Negronis and people start googling where to go next. Now, three nightlife veterans with résumés full of velvet ropes and bottle parades think they’ve solved that problem.

Opening April 4, LunaSol is a new 5,000-square-foot lounge and nightclub from Derek Gonzalez (Goat Hospitality Group), Keith Paciello, and Ryan Van Milligen. The setup goes like this: vinyl-listening-bar-meets-cocktail-lounge in the front, high-energy, bottle-service-fueled nightclub in the back. Call it the mullet of Miami nightlife—business in the front, party in the back—but, like, with gold accents and a retractable roof.

While all that sounds like something that’s common on Miami Beach, big, beautiful clubs are more rare on this side of the causeways. Sure, there’s E11even downtown and spots like Gramps or Dirty Rabbit, but a full-blown club is still something rarely seen in Wynwood.

LunaSol is all wrapped in a dreamy, Yucatán-jungle-meets-Balmain-Paris aesthetic, courtesy of designer Carlos Rodriguez. There are rock walls, golden lighting, and greenery you’re definitely not allowed to touch.

The drinks program updates classics with a twist (read: vodka with elderflower foam or something purple and smoky), while food comes from James Beard Award-winning chef Donatella Arpaia. Yes, that Donatella—the one from Food Network, who’s known for Neapolitan pizza and caviar service, both of which will be available here until 3 a.m. because Miami.

LunaSol’s front lounge opens Tuesday to Saturday at 5 p.m., with the club thumping on Fridays and Saturdays until 3 a.m. If you’ve ever wished there was somewhere to go in Wynwood after your dinner at KYU or Coyo—or if you’ve ever tried to impress a date by pretending you know a “chill spot” that isn’t actually chill at all—this may be your answer.
