There’s something about seeing a long-shuttered restaurant space brought back to life that hits in a strangely sentimental way. It’s like an old house getting new tenants—you want them to be good stewards of the place, to take what was special and improve on it.
That’s why locals in Coral Springs have been watching closely since word got out that Eddie & Vinny’s Coastal Italian would be moving into the former Tavolino Della Notte space. Opening March 17, it’s the latest venture from Eddie and Christina Pozzuoli and Paul Greenberg—the team behind Corvina Seafood Grill and Prezzo. For Eddie Pozzuoli, though, this one is personal: Tavolino was a family business, started by his father, and a place where he spent years helping shape its identity. Now, he’s coming back to reimagine it.
The revamped 230-seat indoor-outdoor restaurant will have Mediterranean-inspired touches and a sleek, modern aesthetic. Think deep blues, warm wood, brass details, and the kind of golden pendant lighting. A new lounge and bar will be the centerpiece, promising top-tier live entertainment and a cocktail list designed for lingering. There will also be personal wine lockers, a nod to the bespoke membership program they’re rolling out.
Chef Jeff Tunks and Executive Chef David Garcia are leading the kitchen, turning out a menu that walks the line between coastal Italian specialties and classics. Expect dishes like Blue Crab Bruschetta, Lobster Linguine Fra Diavolo, Chicken Parmigiana, and a Tuscan Cowboy Ribeye.
For Coral Springs, Eddie & Vinny’s is the next chapter of a space with a long history, written by the very people who helped make it a local institution in the first place.
